We have done a cover of the Pet Shop Boys’ classic “What Have I Done To Deserve This?” as part of Record Store Gay - a compilation album and gig to raise funds for Outhouse, which is a community and resource centre for LGBT people here in Dublin.
You can listen to the whole album right now, as a SoundCloud stream on Nialler9’s blog and at the Hot Press site.
The album will be available for sale for one day only, this Saturday 21st April (Record Store Day!), from selected record shops in Dublin and at the gig - which is a free all-dayer in Outhouse (on Capel Street). We are on last, around 9.15. See you there!

…for an update!

It’s been a busy few months for LBW. We have a load of new songs at various stages of completion. We’ve also been recording material for our first release. Next week we’re doing a full-on recording session, we’ll be mixing that over Christmas and hopefully have something out in the new year.

In the meantime we’ll be debuting some previews here, so stay tuned…

We had a couple of great gigs last week. We really enjoyed having actual monitors in the Workman’s Club, and the house party on Friday was a blast - probably the loosest we’ve ever been (in a good way!).

Now we’re heading back to the rehearsal room to hone and finesse. We’re also planning to make some proper recordings. With a bit of luck you’ll have some Lamont/Bailey/Wall product to give your loved ones for Christmas, if not sooner…

In the meantime we are ready and willing to play anytime, anywhere - so drop us a line.

We have a couple of shows coming up. First off, on Thursday 25th August we have been asked to join a very intriguing line-up at the Workman’s Club on Wellington Quay (D2), playing with Come On Live Long and OKO. Facebook event here.
Later this month we are also going to be an awesome super-secret house party at a mansion somewhere in Dublin. We can’t say too much, but drop us a line if you want to know more!

Here’s some footage of Talking Heads as a trio in the early days.

If you’re coming along to the Twisted Pepper this Saturday night to see us support Lorem Ipsum, remember to click “attending” on the Facebook event. That’ll get you in for €7 rather than €10 (or even €15 if you’re going to Ben Klock downstairs too).

Alternatively, if you’re not on Facebook you can enter your details here to get in for €7.
